It is with sadness that we report that Brother Denny Ohmer 40 year passed away June 11, 2023. Brother Ohmer was employed with Mt, Healthy Police Department for 28 years and retired as Assistant Chief.

OHMER, Dennis W. Beloved husband of Charlene (nee Sparks) Ohmer. Devoted father of Janie (Andy) Scheffler, Dennis (Sunni) Ohmer II, Paul (Paige) Ohmer and Amy (Joe) Egloff; Dear grandfather of Danny, Drew, Nik, Emma, TJ, Faith, Tristen and Corinne and 8 great grandchildren. Brother of Janice (the late Don) Crank. Passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 74. Resident of Fairfield. Denny worked for the City of Mt. Healthy Police Department and retired as Assistant Chief after 28 years of service. He was a member of the FOP Lodge #113. Visitation will be held at the Neidhard Young Funeral Home 7401 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Venice Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be sent to the F.O.P. Lodge #113 Memorial Fund, St. Jude Childrens Hospital or to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
